CARING FOR YOUR ARTWORK

Here are a few important tips on getting your artwork ready to be displayed in your home. If it’s any of my work done on paper, please frame your artwork. I recommend getting custom, professional framing done where they can get the best possible results for your piece. Remember to try and keep your painting so that is not displayed in direct sunlight. 

For canvas paintings it is not necessary to frame them, however, depending on your space and personal taste in style, a painting without a frame can add a more modern feel, especially if the room has a minimal décor to it. In other spaces, a frame can really benefit not only your new work of art, but the space itself. It is all up to you! Visit your local framer when considering how to display your artwork properly.

SHIPPING

All paintings are shipped within 7 business days, excluding holidays and weekends.

 

Packages are sent using standard, non-insured shipping, but if you would prefer insured shipping, please let me know via email so that I am able to check the postage fares for you. 

I ship all of my paintings without rolling them. Oil paintings might develop cracks when re-stretched on wooden bars and therefore would not take the risk of this happening to your piece. Oil on paper is shipped in durable flat boxes and bubble wrap.

All paintings are sold as unique and original. With original artwork, no two pieces are going to be alike. Please take the time to check the colors on multiple screens if you are concerned about variations. I try my very best to represent the colors in all artwork as clearly as possible.  All sales on commissioned artwork are final. If for any reason your commissioned piece has issues, I am happy to see to it and resolve the issue. If for any reason you want to cancel your commissioned order, total value of materials used and time taken to create it will be charged. All sales on other original artwork have 14 days return policy from receiving your art, if you are not completely satisfied with your piece. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any other possible costs such as customs fees and duty. Artwork must be returned and packed in original packaging and sent back using the same sending method (i.e. tracked, insured). Returns are issued to original form of payment once received and checked. In case of damage or loss during shipping, Gabriella Le Blanc Art is responsible to pay a full refund if the buyer has committed to and paid for insured shipping.
